Gender and Inclusion: Championing Equal Rights and Dignity

We work to dismantle systemic barriers and advance gender justice, ensuring that women, girls, and all marginalized individuals can live free from violence and fulfill their true potential.

Every individual is born free and equal in dignity and rights. Yet, systemic imbalances and deeply rooted injustices continue to put women, girls, and marginalized groups at risk of exclusion and violence. At Stop Child Abuse (SCA), we believe that gender justice is the foundation of a healthy, healing society. Our mission is to transform relationships, address these imbalances, and build communities where everyone can thrive.

In partnership with local communities, the United Nations, and global allies, we implement tools and resources that ensure gender equality at every level of our work.

Our Approach:

  • Advocacy & Action: We prioritize the human rights and economic empowerment of women while actively working to eliminate sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) within communities.
  • Engaging Men and Boys: True equality cannot be achieved in isolation. We actively engage men and boys not as bystanders, but as essential partners and allies in the pursuit of gender justice in schools and society at large.
  • Empowering the Excluded: We empower women, girls, and all people at risk of exclusion to take the lead in demanding integrity and participating in the institutions that shape their lives.

Education as an Equalizer Since 2016, SCA has driven systemic change through our targeted initiative: "Students Acting for Honesty, Integrity, and Equality." Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) and 5 (Gender Equality), this program tackles educational barriers head-on.

We organize localized campaigns to raise awareness among parents, decision-makers, and community leaders, securing their active commitment to the education of girls with a special, unwavering focus on girls living with disabilities. By listening to their needs and amplifying their voices, we are building a more open, responsible, and equal world.
